Solar energy is the energy we obtain from the sun. This energy is of the form of heat and light. The energy of the sun is renewable and inexhaustible. It can never be finished and so it is one of the most environment friendly sources of energy which is unlimited in supply. Solar rays can be used for many purposes like solar heating and solar lighting.
A solar heater uses the thermal energy from the sun to heat water which can be used for cooking, bathing and many other things. One can heat water to about to 140ºF.
